A bowl of philosphy

Filed under: General — Tom @ 9:03 am

Alissa, sifting the last of a box of cereal with a strainer to separate the crumbs from the good, usable bits for her bowl this morning: “This is what I hate about Life – it gets all gross with broken little crumbs at the end.” To which I could only answer, “Much like real life.”

And, a bit later, I found that those same bits had glued themselves to the inside of the sink. Also much like real life, if you don’t flush out the detritus, it all sort of just gloms on like cement, doesn’t it?

  1. Great analogy! And quite true.

Here via the NaBloPoMo Randomiser. Good luck this month.

  2. What?! Those crummy bits at the end are the best part (of the cereal, not real life)!
